The latest Dubai marvel-to-be is a proposed 68-story combination hotel, apartment and office tower where the floors would rotate 360 degrees.

Each story of the tower would be shaped like a doughnut and be attached to a center core housing elevators. Each floor would rotate independently and one single rotation would take around 90 minutes.

Hawa Mahal

Hawa Mahal is a major landmark and a famous tourist attraction of Jaipur
The literal meaning of Hawa Mahal is Palace of Winds
Hawa Mahal is a pyramid-shaped facade with five stories. It has 953 small windows decorated with tiny lattice work. These pink sandstone windows commonly known as "Jharokhas" are constructed in such a style, that it looks like a giant honeycomb. The air circulation through windows represents the marvelous touch of Mughal designing, which keeps the Palace always cool
Hawa Mahal was believed to be build for the women of the Royal Families, since they had to observe strict "purdah" (cover).

Jal Mahal

From hawa to jal mahal. The name Jal Mahal refers to a palace created in water and that is what this Mahal is all about as it is been built in the center of the lake Man Sagar. Built around 1799 its just the most sensational tourist spot.

It will fascinate you even more when you will see that the first four floors of the building are underwater. The top floor of the building is the one that you can see from outside. The building is made with red sandstone and that is one of the reason that it exudes that tranquil look and when it gets mixed with the serenity of the lake, you can certainly get lost in the whole atmosphere.

Nature of Earth- Ice Storm 2010 Photos

This is what I woke up to this morning.

Thankfully I have no where to go today.

Because although ice is very pretty,

it creates quite a mess.

So today I am sitting back and trying to see the beauty in this winter storm.

Is it currently snowing, so it might get worse before it gets better,

but for now I am thankful that we still have our electricity, although I am guessing it may not last for long.
